K-12th Grade Art Classes
This year we are excited to partner with the YMCA, Watershed Nature Center,and the Edwardsville Children’s Museum to offer a wide variety of FUN and CREATIVE kids art classes! We’ll be hosting classes at three different locations - EAC, The Watershed, and the Children’s Museum. Click the links below for details.
Our instructors are educated in the arts, have degrees (or are working on degrees) in their fields of study, and love working with kids! We can’t wait to see you in class!
Class Types at our Four Locations:
Edwardsville Arts Center: 4-week classes for grades K-12, including foundational Drawing and Painting classes, Wheel Throwing and Handbuilt Ceramics, Character Design, Fashion Illustration, Animal Art, and more! Classes are designed to challenge kids to explore and learn based on their grade level.
Edwardsville Children’s Museum: 3-week classes for grades K-5th, and 1-day classes for Preschool (ages 2-5). Classes include topics such as Space Art, Sewn Animals, Minecraft Building Exploration, and more!
Watershed Nature Center: 3-week nature-focused classes for grades K-8th, and 1-day classes for Preschool (ages 2-5). Classes include topics such as Nature Drawing, Nature Painting, Animal Art, and “Let it Grow!” (nature-based crafts).
YMCA: 3-day art classes for grades K-8th in collaboration with Edwardsville YMCA. Classes are hosted at the EAC Gallery, and include topics such as Drawing, Painting, All the Arts, Clay, and more!
