Create a vertical artwork inspired by local wildlife! Get creative with your interpretation of the natural world — think creatures, critters, habitats, and more.
📢 Who Can Enter?
This contest is FREE and open to all ages — from Kindergarten to Adults!
Participants must live within or attend school in the District 7 area.
🏆 What Happens If You Win?
16 winning designs will be printed on enlarged 23” x 38” banners and displayed on light posts throughout Edwardsville!
There will be two winners chosen from each of the following age groups:
Kindergarten–2nd · 3rd–5th · 6th–8th · High School (9th–10th) · High School (11th–12th) · College (Freshman–Sophomore) · College (Junior–Senior) · Graduate Student / Adult
🖼️ Artwork Guidelines
Orientation: Must be vertical
Media: Any traditional or digital art medium is welcome!
Artwork Size Options:
12” x 20” (½ scale of final banner)
11” x 18” (easy and proportional)
Or use our template (6” x 10”, fits on regular paper)
🔔 If you're chosen, you'll need to bring your original artwork to the EAC no later than July 14.
