Middle School Art Club

Winter/Spring 2026

Starting January 2026, students will register for Middle School Art club per semester.

Description:
6th-8th Graders can join us every Saturday from 1:00–3:00pm for a creative deep-dive into the art world!  Each week, students will explore a different medium or technique - drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, mixed media, and more - while also learning about both historical and contemporary artists who inspire these techniques. Students may choose to participate in the weekly activity or work on their own independent projects, with guidance from the teacher as it is available. This club is perfect for young artists who want to improve their skills, experiment boldly, build a community, and explore their interests!

A minimum of 7 students is required for the club to run.

Class dates are non-transferable. Missed sessions cannot be credited, refunded, or applied to future classes

Dates and Time: 1:00-3:00pm every Saturday from January 17th - May 30th, excluding January 31st and April 4th.

Age: 6th-8th Grade

Class Fee: $300

Materials: All materials provided

Location:  Edwardsville Arts Center, 340 Montclaire Ave. in Edwardsville, IL.

(No class on January 31st or April 4th.)
