ARTEAST FAQ:

Who can participate?

Artists living or working in Madison or Macoupin County are eligible.

When is the event?

Saturday, December 5th & Sunday, December 6th, 2026 | 12pm–5pm

Where does it take place?

Participants may open their own studios, show through a gallery, or exhibit in an alternative space (such as a frame shop, coffee shop, bank, etc.).

If you don’t have a studio or venue, we encourage you to partner with another artist or host to increase visibility and foot traffic.

Choose one site and plan to be present with your work during both days of the event.

(Meeting the artist is what visitors love most about ARTEAST!)

Locations with multiple artists consistently attract the most visitors, so grouping together is a great way to boost engagement and sales.

Know other artists who should be involved? Please spread the word and invite them to register.

Let’s keep the momentum going and make this year even more impactful!

ARTEAST is proudly supported by:

Participating artists open their studios or exhibit at partner locations throughout the community, inviting visitors to explore their work, meet the artists, and purchase original artwork.
